Here at Bamunanika Charity Foundation, we believe that each child deserves a chance for a better future. We are committed to helping the poor and needy children of Uganda by giving food, clothing, and an opportunity to learn.

We do whatever it takes for the children — every day, and in times of crisis — giving hope to the hopeless, transforming their lives and the future we share.

Our Story

Meet Brenda, founder of Bamunanika.

Bamunanika Charity Foundation was founded by Nalyazi Brenda. Brenda knows what it means to lose your family and live on the streets — spending each day searching for something to eat and a place to lay your head.

She has taken these children off the streets and now cares for them, providing food, clothing, shelter and education through the support of donations. She also reaches needy children in surrounding villages, including help with their schooling. With the rising number of Ugandan orphans going to bed on an empty stomach, every donation — no matter how small — makes a difference.

Our Current Goal

A home for orphans & clean water for the community.

We are currently fundraising to build a safe, permanent home for orphaned and abandoned children, and to provide clean, safe drinking water for the community. Together, we can make a difference in the life of a child.
